The Alaska® P Gen6 16L PCIe Retimer (MV-CHP10160) is a 16-channel, low-power, low-latency, fully PCI Express® Gen 6.x compliant device with leading I/O performance. It is capable of driving up to 64 Gbps signals across 16 lanes, extending the range of connections between PCIe root multiplexers (RCs) and endpoints (EPs).

The MV-CHP10160 is optimised for low-latency applications via the Compute Express Link™ 3.x protocol, with long reach SerDes on both sides (upstream and downstream) to support transmission over high loss channels.

The MV-CHP10160 operates at 64 GT/s, 32 GT/s, 16 GT/s, 8 GT/s, 5 GT/s, and 2.5 GT/s PCIe data rates with automatic link equalisation and training according to PCIe specifications.

The MV-CHP10160 exceeds PCI-SIG electrical specifications with insertion loss (IL) greater than 32 dB at 64 GT/s (PCIe 6) and greater than 36 dB at 32 GT/s (PCIe 5). The device enables customers to scale compute fabrics within accelerated systems, general-purpose servers, and cache coherent disaggregation infrastructures.
