Marvell® ARMADA® 7040 (88F7040) 88F7040-A2-BVQ4C080 is a complete system-on-chip (SoC) solution based on the latest ARMv8 high-performance CPU technology. Perfect for a wide variety of SoHo, SMB and enterprise applications. The ARMADA® 7040 includes a quad-core ARM Cortex-A72 that delivers exceptional levels of performance, integration, and efficiency, while offering the best performance-to-power ratio in the embedded market.

The 88F7040 is based on the Marvell MoChi design, and because the MCi interface is inherently transparent to the driver, all connected MCIS will be displayed in the driver, enabling the implementation of virtual System single chip (vSoC), although it is an integrated feature of the 88F7040 itself. The 88F7040 also supports a 32b bus bit-wide standard high-speed DDR4 interface with optional ECC functionality.
