Product Description

Xilinx Kintex®-7 FPGAs offer the best price/performance and low power consumption for fast-growing applications and wireless communications.Kintex-7 FPGAs offer superior performance and connectivity at a price point previously limited to the highest capacity applications.


Kintex-7 FPGAs allow designers to build superior bandwidth and 12-bit digitally programmable analog while meeting cost and power requirements. 144GMACS digital signal processor (DSP) unique power consumption makes the versatile Kintex-7 devices ideal for applications such as portable ultrasound devices and next-generation communications. Kintex-7 FPGAs offer 800Gbps peak serial bandwidth (full duplex) and includes CPRI/OBSAI IP cores (9.8Gbps) optimized for distributed baseband architectures. The programmable Kintex-7 devices can also be easily reconfigured to support multiple wireless interfaces, such as LTE, WiMAX and WCDMA.


Kintex-7 has built-in support for 8-lane PCI Express (Gen1/Gen2) for connection to host systems. 7 Series devices leverage the Xilinx Unified Architecture to protect IP investments and allow easy migration of 6 Series designs. The unified architecture has common components including logic fabric, Block RAM, DSP, clocking, analog mixed-signal (AMS) and quick change targets within the 7 series. the Kintex-7 FPGA architecture significantly reduces development time, allowing designers to focus on migrating product differentiation, new projects and more.
