The ATMXT288UD-AMTI2CVAO is the smallest automotive-grade touchscreen controller in a VQFN-56 package with wettable sides for smart surfaces and multifunction displays up to 6.5 inches.

ATMXT288UD-AMTI2CVAO: This latest addition to the maXTouch family has an excellent inherent SNR for detecting and tracking multi-finger thick gloves through a variety of overlay materials and thicknesses, even when wet. This signal-to-noise ratio is combined with high acquisition speeds for fast, accurate and reliable determination of touch location.

The ATMXT288UD-AMTI2CVAO incorporates a new low-power wake-up-to-touch mode that enables the system to enter wait-for-touch mode while consuming less than 50uA of power and waking up when a touch event occurs anywhere on the touch surface.

The ATMXT288UD-AMTI2CVAO controller also incorporates new self-diagnostic and sensor diagnostic features to continuously monitor the integrity of the touch system. With these smart diagnostic features, the new ATMXT288UD-A device supports the automotive safety integrity levels specified in ISO26262.
