The MMW9012KZ is a highly integrated 5G 4-channel dual-polarisation analogue beamforming IC, digitally controlled via a high-speed SPI bus or LVDS link.The MMW9012KZ features 8-bit phase and gain resolution. Each channel consists of a transmit chain (TX) and a receive chain (RX).Both the TX and RX chains have buffers, phase shifters, and variable gain amplifiers (VGAs). An on-chip power detector measures the power level at all antenna ports in TX mode. A digital interface controls all MMW9012K function registers.The MMW9012KZ is available in a very small FO-WLPBGA package measuring 6.5 mm x 6.1 mm x 0.56 mm with 182 bumps.
