The EP4CGX15BF14C8N is a Cyclone® IV E FPGA with 14400 LE and 540kb of embedded memory. It is equipped with 20 global clock networks, 9 user I/O banks and 72 user I/Os. The logic and routing core architecture is ringed by I/O elements (IOEs) and phase-locked loops (PLLs). The E device has four general purpose PLLs, located at the four corners of the chip. Cyclone® IV E FPGAs have I/O on all four sides of the chip. Each transceiver has a multi-purpose PLL (MPLL) on the top and bottom of the chip that can be used by the transceiver, or when the FPGA is architected. Efficient interconnects and low offset clock networks are included to provide a connection between the clock and data signals in the logic fabric. Cyclone® IV E FPGAs are suitable for a wide range of general logic applications.
