SC2151AQDER The SC2151A is a Type-C/ PD and DPDM fast charging controller with integrated CC/CV loop control and built-in loop compensation. It is compliant with the latest Type-C and PD 3.0 protocol standards and supports the proprietary high voltage fast charging protocol for the DPDM interface. SC2151A is mainly used in wall charger adapters and travel charger adapters. The SC2151A minimises external components by integrating modules such as USB PD baseband (PHY), Type-C detection, DPDM PHY, VBUS discharge path, VCONN supply, programmable loop compensation, voltage and current detection, 10-bit high performance ADC, two 10-bit DACs, NMOS gate driver, I2C interface and protection circuitry. The SC2151A includes a 32-bit embedded microcontroller with 24KB OTP and 2KB RAM providing a highly flexible and cost effective solution for many applications.The SC2151A supports a variety of protection mechanisms including overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, over temperature protection, DP/DM pin overvoltage protection, VCONN overvoltage protection, VCONN overcurrent protection, VCONN overload protection, VCONN overload protection and VCONN overload protection, The SC2151A is available in a 16-pin QFN package.
