The IA8201CQ device includes a high-compute 128-bit core (DMX) with AiSonic's proprietary instruction set and a Tensilica HiFi3 core (HMD), both with AiSonic audio enhancements.

DMX is a 4-way floating point SIMD processor for high performance computing (e.g., beamforming, insertion, AEC), while HMD is for high efficiency, low power, voice wake applications with a bidirectional floating point SIMD processor. Both cores contain dedicated accelerators for FFT, peak finding, and DNN.

A rich audio set and universal high-speed interface support flexible connectivity to digital microphones, other sensors and hosts for further processing. 1MB of user RAM supports the storage of multiple algorithm and speech keywords.
