Product Description

The LFE5UM-25F-7MG285C is a high-performance, low-cost FPGA product from Lattice. The ECP5 device adopts a 40nm process and has the following main characteristics ‌ :

‌ High performance ‌ : The ECP5 provides an enhanced DSP architecture, high-speed Serializer/Deserializer (SERDES), and high-speed source synchronization interfaces, making it suitable for high-speed and low-cost applications. Its Lookup Table (LUT) capacity is up to 84K logical units, supports up to 365 user I/ OS, and offers up to 156 18x18 multipliers ‌.

Power consumption and size ‌ : ECP5 devices excel in terms of power consumption and size. Its power consumption is significantly reduced, with static and dynamic power consumption of less than 0.25W with single-channel SERDES and less than 0.5W with four-channel SERDES. In addition, the ECP5 is available in a 10x10 mm, 0.5mm pin-pitch package, featuring high functional density and a small package ‌.

‌ Cabling architecture and I/O support ‌ : The ECP5 device uses an advanced cabling architecture, supports dual-channel SERDES and enhanced DSP modules, and reduces the use of multiplier resources. Its programmable I/O supports several standards, including LVCMOS, XGMII, LVTTL, LVDS, Bus-LVDS, 7:1 LVDS, LVPECL, and MIPI D-PHY ‌.
