The BCM49428A2KFEBG is a high-performance quad-core ARM v8 compatible 64-bit processor designed for next-generation 10Gb wireless applications. The quad-core B53 CPUs have enough horsepower to support the throughput of Broadcom's ultra-high-performance Wi-Fi 7 access point chips and still provide enough room to run customers' value-added applications. The BCM49428 features a dual-release runner network processor and a high-performance security processing unit (SPU). The integrated 10G/5G/2.5G multi-Gigabit PHY makes it the ideal platform to support next-generation multi-gigabit enterprise wireless networks.
