The quad-core B53 CPUs have enough horsepower to support the throughput of Broadcom's ultra-high-performance Wi-Fi 7 access point chips and still provide enough room to run customers' value-added applications. The BCM49428 features a dual-release runner network processor and a high-performance security processing unit (SPU).
