The MMC3280MA magnetic sensor continues the advantages of MEMSIC's magnetic sensor product line and is currently used in many high-capacity mobile customer products, including growing industry-leading products. The product is optimized for use in smartphones, tablets, gaming and other high volume applications due to its small size, high accuracy and low power consumption electronic compass function.

The MMC3280MA magnetic sensor is packaged in a 1.2mm×1.7mm×1.0mm BGA package module with an operating voltage range of 1.62~3.6V, low power consumption of 0.22mA and high accuracy of ±2°.

Current consumption: 0.22mA (when the sampling time is 50ms), which reduces the power consumption by 3 to 8 times compared with other geomagnetic sensors;
