The EM06ELA-512-SGAS is an LTE-A Cat 6 IoT module with an M.2 form factor of 42.0mm × 30.0mm × 2.3mm and is compliant with 3GPP Release 11 standards. Under LTE, the EM06 has a maximum downlink rate of 300Mbps and an uplink rate of 50Mbps, with Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology to meet data rate and link reliability requirements. The module also supports Qualcomm® IZat™ positioning technology Gen8C Lite (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou/Compass, Galileo, and QZSS), and optional multi-constellation GNSS receivers greatly simplify product design and provide faster, more accurate, and more reliable positioning. The range includes three variants to meet different geographical requirements, which can be compared in the table above.

A wide range of Internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces and features such as USB serial drivers for Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Linux and Android enable the modules to serve a wide range of IoT applications including industrial routers, home gateways, set-top boxes, industrial laptops, consumer laptops, industrial PDAs, rugged tablets , video transmission and digital signage.
