RV1106 is a highly integrated ARM general-purpose SoC from Rockchip, mainly targeting IPC machine vision applications, with a very high price/performance ratio and suitable for large-scale deployment.RV1106 is based on a single ARM Cortex-A7 32-bit CPU, with integrated Neon and FPU, and has a built-in standalone NPU supporting INT4/INT8/INT16 mixed computing. It supports INT4/INT8/INT16 hybrid computing, with a computing power of up to 0.5TOPS. In addition, based on its strong compatibility, it can realize the conversion framework based on a series of network models of TensorFlow MXNet/PyTorch/Caffe.

The RV1106 utilizes a new, fully hardware-based maximum 5MP ISP (Image Signal Processor). It implements a variety of algorithmic gas pedals such as HDR, 3A, LSC, 3DNR, 2DNR, sharpening, defogging, gamma correction, and more. In conjunction with two MIPICSIs (or LVDs) and a DVP using the BT.601/BT.656/BT.1120 interfaces, the user can set up a system that receives video data from three camera sensors simultaneously.

The RV1106's built-in video encoder supports H.265/H.264 encoding. It also supports multi-stream encoding. With this feature, the video from a camera can be encoded at a higher resolution and stored in local memory, while another low-resolution video is transferred to cloud storage. To speed up video processing, the RV1106 also has a built-in intelligent video engine with 22 compute units. the RV1106 has a built-in 16-bit DRAM DDR3L that maintains demanding memory bandwidth. It also integrates a built-in RTC, POR, audio codec and MAC physical layer.
