The SC20WSC-8GB-UNN is Quectel's new generation of multi-mode intelligent LTE Cat 4 modules.

Based on the LTE network, the SC20 series modules provide maximum data rates of up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink, and support wireless communication via IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n and BT 4.2 LE. It is an ideal solution for industrial and consumer applications requiring high data rates and high-speed Internet access. The modules are backward compatible with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, ensuring connectivity even in remote areas without 3G or 4G network coverage.

The SC20 series modules support Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology. Simultaneous use of multiple antennas in the same frequency band at the receiving end significantly reduces errors and optimises data speeds. The modules also combine high-speed wireless connectivity with embedded multi-constellation, high-sensitivity GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou) receivers for positioning.

A rich set of interfaces (e.g. LCM, camera, touch screen, MIC, SPK, UART, USB, I2C) extends the module's suitability to a wide range of M2M applications such as MIDs, PNDs, POS, routers, datacards, in-vehicle solutions, smartphones, digital signage, security and industrial PDAs.
