The EG91NAFB-512-SGNS is Quectel's LTE Cat 1 wireless communication module designed for M2M and IoT applications. It adopts 3GPP Rel. 11 LTE technology and supports a maximum downlink rate of 10Mbps and a maximum uplink rate of 5Mbps. The EG91 series is especially suitable for applications where the network rate requirement is not very high but stable and reliable LTE network connection is required. 

The EG91 has a rich set of built-in network protocols, integrates multiple industrial standard interfaces, and supports a variety of drivers and software functions (e.g., USB virtual serial port drivers for Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Linux, Android, etc.); this greatly expands the scope of its applications in the M2M and IoT fields, such as smart meter reading, wearables, environmental monitoring, asset tracking, fleet management, as well as security and safety management, asset tracking, fleet management, and security systems.
