EC21EUGA-512-SGNS Mini PCIe is Quectel's LTE Cat 1 wireless communication module designed for M2M and IoT applications, which adopts PCI Express® Mini Card standard interface. It meets customers' needs for cost-effective, low-power applications and supports a maximum downlink rate of 10 Mbps and a maximum uplink rate of 5 Mbps. The EC21 Mini PCIe series is especially suitable for applications that do not require a high network rate, but require stable and reliable LTE network connectivity.

Based on Qualcomm's advanced IZat™ positioning technology (Gen8C Lite), the EC21 series Mini PCIe integrates a multi-constellation GNSS receiver that supports GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo and QZSS positioning technologies for faster, more accurate and reliable positioning. The built-in GNSS also greatly simplifies the design of customer applications.

EC21 Mini PCIe has built-in rich network protocols, integrates multiple industrial standard interfaces, and supports a variety of drivers and software functions (e.g., USB-to-serial drivers under Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux, Android, etc.); it greatly expands its scope of application in the M2M and IoT fields, such as intelligent meter reading, asset tracking, fleet management, wearable devices, smart home gateways, digital signage, and even drones.
