The LT3645IMSE is a dual-output regulator incorporating a 500mA buck regulator. Its wide input voltage range of 3.6V to 36V makes the LT3645IMSE suitable for regulating power from multiple sources, including 24V industrial supplies and automotive batteries. The device's high operating frequency permits the use of compact and low-cost inductors and capacitors, enabling a very small solution.

Cycle-by-cycle current limiting and frequency foldback provide protection against shorted outputs. Soft start and frequency foldback eliminate input inrush current during start-up.

The linear regulator derives its operating voltage from the VCC2 pin and operates at voltages as low as 1.2V. It delivers 200mA of output current with a typical dropout voltage of 310mV.

Additional features of the LT3645IMSE include <2μA shutdown, short-circuit protection, soft-start, and thermal shutdown. The LT3645IMSE is available in a thermally enhanced 12-pin MSE package.
