The ATA6831C-PIQW-1 provides fully protected driver interfaces designed with SOI technology. They are used to allow the microcontroller to control up to three different loads in automotive and industrial applications. Each of the three high-side and three low-side drivers can drive up to 1.0A. Thanks to enhanced PWM signals (up to 25kHz), it is possible to produce smooth control of, for example, DC motors without any noise. The drivers are internally connected to form three half-bridges, which can be individually controlled via a standard serial data interface, allowing various loads such as lamps, resistors, capacitors and inductors to be combined.
